Get weird with us?

PDX Kink Week aims to support Portland’s small alt businesses, kink-friendly venues, and event producers. To lift up the local makers and shakers.

Portland is a city infatuated with creativity and subversive acts. We are fierce and we are independent. This might be why we’ve got a higher number of sex clubs, strip clubs, toy makers, and sex positive educators.

This city is home to Kinkfest, one of the largest BDSM conferences on the West Coast. While springtime works its frisky magic, thirsty visitors arrive, eager to taste (not just the food carts) what’s been cultivated in dark dungeon lairs and queer kink parties.

And three days just isn’t enough for the hungry hedonist. Kink Week brings together some bonus opportunities for community, beyond the con and into the spaces and shops that keep it weird year-round.

Even in a city full of hedonists, it can be hard to find others you click with. Kink Week is a connection point, offering club events as well as smaller community-hosted social gatherings and pop-ups across the city. This week is for the kink curious, the explorers, and the BDSM veteran alike.

PDX Kink Week was imagined and instigated by Natasha Strange of Sub Rosa PDX. It’s been brought into being with her biz partner and event host Viola Parker, as well as a gaggle of other collaborators and event producers (and maybe YOU!). Please contact us if you want to be involved.

PDX Kink Week is a love letter to Portland. A celebration of all the creative, deliciously weird things Portland has to offer, bound together with a kinky ribbon.
